Gordon B. Hinckley: 1910-2008

The bad news keeps coming. Gordon B. Hinckley, President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints passed away today due to “causes incident to age”. He was 97. He really did a lot in his thirteen years as President of the Church and will be greatly missed.

  1. President Gordon B. Hinckley did more for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints than any other prophet except Joseph Smith. What a privledge it has been to live during the time of his presidency! What a blessing it is to have known him and to have heard his words and held his hand. God bless his family as they mourn his passing, and my prayers go out to the 12 apostles and President Thomas S. Monson as they face this transition.
